  • In recent course on contemporary art, led discussions of identity, race, and subjectivity related to the contemporary moment

Conference Co-organizer of department-affiliated conference “Reuse Reconsidered,” 2017

  • co-wrote the Call for Papers, created the website, sat on the selection committee, participated in the organization of panels, helped determine the conference’s location and layout, and headed up the on-the-ground operations during the conference itself

Graduate Liaison to the Faculty 2016-2017

  • Attended monthly faculty meetings to represent the graduate student perspective and reported the results of the meetings back to the graduate students

  • Ran monthly graduate student meetings intended to make plans for future activities and events and to discuss concerns to be presented to the faculty

  • Designed and implemented a program that paired undergraduate majors with graduate students whose interests and experiences matched the undergraduate’s career aspirations
